Top 8 things that fight bad breath

Bad breath is one thing that can affect you without your knowledge.

This is why you have to watch your own back on this matter. It does not make sense that a fine girl like you does not have fresh breath. Foods like coffee, garlic, onions and dairy products (especially with lots of sugar) will do your breath no good so floss, rinse your mouth properly and brush properly. In addition, eat more of the following:

1. Crunchy fruit

Something with a crunch is most likely to scrub your teeth as you eat, freeing them from the sticky foods that may latch on them. Examples are apples and carrots.

2. Gum

Chewing gum is good for fresh breath as long as it is sugarless. Minty ones are a good choice too.

3. Water

Water is like the solution to almost every health issue and you can never overdo it. Drink as much as possible to wash away bits of food that may cause foul odour in your mouth.

4. Black tea

Note that I said ‘black’. Black tea helps with decreasing the rate at which the bacteria naturally occurring in your mouth may produce smelly by-products. You should do it in moderation though as it contains quite a lot of caffeine.

5. Berries

Foods rich in vitamin C such as blueberries and strawberries can really work wonders on your breath.

6. Fresh herbs

Herbs such as parsley, rosemary, spearmint, and coriander all release pleasant fragrances. Therefore chewing on them is an excellent way to freshen your breath after dinner. You could also use the leaves as a tea-like decoction

7. Lemons

You have to admit: these sweet beauties have an appealing fragrance and munching on them after a meal boosts your immune system and keeps your breath fresh.

8. Ginger

Some people have bad breaths because of issues in their digestive tracts. Ginger can easily take care of this.
